Abroath leave it late to sink Cowdenbeath
Second-half goals from Josh Skelly and Steven Doris saw Arbroath narrow the gap on Scottish League Two leaders Forfar to four points with a 2-0 win at Cowdenbeath.
The visitors needed 74 minutes to break the deadlock against their rock-bottom hosts, who are now two points adrift at the bottom and in danger of facing a relegation play-off.
Skelly stroked home the opener from the middle of the box Doris made sure of the points three minutes later when he converted a Skelly set-piece.
Struggling Stirling boosted their own survival prospects with a 2-2 draw at Montrose despite the injury time dismissal of Angus Beith.
An early own goal from Andrew Steeves gave Stirling the lead before Terry Masson and Gary Fraser responded to give Montrose the lead.
Ross Smith headed an equaliser for the visitors 11 minutes from time before Beith was red-carded for foul and abusive language.
Annan bounced back from two straight defeats as they cruised to a 3-1 win over Berwick at Galabank.
David McKenna's fifth-minute opener was immediately cancelled out by Patrick Scullion for the visitors, but further first-half goals from Peter Watson and Robin Omar sealed Annan's win.
