Annan Athletic 1-0 Elgin- Match Report

Clyde comeback baffles Berwick

Clyde recovered from losing a two-goal lead to beat Berwick 3-2 and move up to second in Ladbrokes League Two.

Peter MacDonald's 23rd-minute free-kick gave Clyde the lead before David Gormley made it 2-0 just before half-time.

Berwick then scored two goals in four minutes to draw level, with Greg Rutherford and Greg Hurst both beating John Gibson.

But Berwick went down to 10 men when Darren Lavery saw red for his foul on Scott Ferguson and the hosts took advantage with Chris Smith scoring an 81st-minute winner.

Clyde are five points behind leaders Forfar, who were held at lowly Montrose.

Gary Fraser gave the hosts a 29th-minute lead but Danny Denholm headed home in first-half stoppage time.

Arbroath missed the chance to go second as Sean Dickson scored twice in added time to earn Stirling a stunning 2-2 draw.

Steven Doris opened the scoring five minutes before the break for Arbroath, who had Ricky Little sent off in the 52nd minute.

That looked to make little difference as Omar Kader made it 2-0 14 minutes later but Dickson scored two quick-fire goals to secure a point

Elgin dropped from second to fourth as they suffered a third consecutive defeat, losing 1-0 at Annan.

David McKenna's fifth-minute goal secured Annan's first league win since October 1.

Elsewhere, bottom side Edinburgh stretched their unbeaten run to four games with a 1-1 draw against Cowdenbeath as Dougie Gair's 79th-minute equaliser cancelled out Kriss Renton's first-half header.
