Annan boss Jim Chapman expecting tough challenge against East Fife

Annan have added David Ferguson to their squad from Motherwell and the on-loan defender is included in manager Jim Chapman's plans for the visit of an East Fife side that sit at the top of the table.

Galabank boss Chapman said: "We had a good win over Montrose last weekend but we managed to make heavy weather of it by conceding soft goals. Hopefully we can cut that out of our game, especially against a side in good form like East Fife.

"East Fife have players that can hurt you but I am confident that we have players in our ranks that can hurt them."

East Fife have a full squad to choose from with Stevie Campbell available to player/ manager Gary Naysmith after five months out with an ankle injury.

The table-topping Fifers boss has warned his men they face a difficult afternoon, saying: "Last season Annan got the better of us twice on their own pitch with late goals. They are very strong and determined and we will need to be at our best to win.

"We went to Hampden last Saturday and defeated Queen's Park 2-0. If we can put on a similar performance then we will have a great chance of keeping our good run going."
